One good thing about hospitality management is that it can provide you easy access to the international community. You could have the chance to travel and work almost anywhere in the world, as long as there is a need for the job. Some people today tend to think that with terrorism threats abounding that this industry is going downhill. That simply is not true as thousands of people refuse to just stay home and not travel abroad.
The International Hospitality Community is always looking for more help because the more staff they have on hand,the quicker their patrons needs are met,which means that they are even more satisfied,and very apt to become repeat patrons. Why shouldn't you be one of those personnel?
Why shouldn't it be you making good money while taking in the sights?
Do you think that you would be an asset or a hindrance as an Overseas Hospitality Establishment staff person?
A "Can Do" attitude means more to a potential employer than having previous experience.
Think about this; Would you go back to a place where you had a nice peaceful time and the staff seemed cheery enough but you had to wait alittle longer than usual because there wasn't enough staff on duty or would you be more apt to be a repeat patron to an establishment where you had a wonderful and relaxed time and where your whims were taken care of in no time at all because they had more than enough competent staff on duty, staff who possessed a cheerful "can do it,will do it" for you attitude?
I would choose# 2,more staff,eager to please, = less waiting which also will = a more relaxing memorable time. People remember the staff and their experiences with the staff alittle more than they do the actual country they visited,remember that always.
Remember to never forget to look into Outsourcing,alot of companies are doing more and more of that every single day,the Hospitality field included.
